Awardees named for 29th annual Thomas Jefferson Awards

Virginia Museum of Natural History statewide event to be held March 24 at the historic Wayne Theater in Waynesboro, Virginia

 

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (January 8, 2016) – The Virginia Museum of Natural History in Martinsville has announced the award recipients for its 29th annual Thomas Jefferson Awards ceremony to be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the historic Wayne Theater in Waynesboro, Virginia.

Prof. James Galloway to Participate in “Our Ocean” Conference

EVSC Professor James Galloway will be one of the scenesetters for a session on “Stemming the Tide of Ocean Pollution” at the  “Our Ocean” conference on Friday Sept. 16, 2016 in Washington D.C.

Other speakers at the conference include President Barak Obama, Secretary of State John Kerry and a host of  leaders and senior diplomats from other countries.
