In the News - Spencer Tassone quoted in Chesapeake Bay Journal on Ecological Implications of Increasing Riverine Heatwaves

The Chesapeake Bay Journal wrote a story (linked here) about a recent Chesapeake Bay Program - Scientific and Technical Advisory Committee (STAC) report entitled Rising Watershed and Bay Temperatures - Ecological Implications and Management Responses. Tassone helped to author part of the STAC report (currently pending publication on the STAC website - linked here) on the ecological implications of increasing riverine heatwaves. Tassone's dissertation work on riverine heatwaves throughout the U.S. was recently published in the journal Limnology and Oceanography Letters (linked here).
